Vintage Geneva Seal Form Watch Movement 14.3 x 26.3mm – Project Movement

An interesting vintage Swiss form watch movement measuring approximately 14.3 x 26.3mm.

The movement carries the prestigious Geneva Seal (Poinçon de Genève), one of the most respected marks of quality in Swiss watchmaking. Awarded only to movements produced and finished to strict standards within the Canton of Geneva, the Geneva Seal remains a symbol of high-grade horological craftsmanship.

Form movements of this type were commonly used in quality rectangular and tonneau wristwatches during the early twentieth century and are increasingly difficult to source today.

The movement is offered as a restoration project. Some parts are missing, including the balance, hour wheel and stem. There is also some minor rust and dirt visible from age and storage.
