Historical Background

The Timor WWW was one of the twelve watches commissioned by the British Ministry of Defence under the “Watch, Wristlet, Waterproof” (WWW) specification during World War II. Today these watches are collectively known as the “Dirty Dozen” and are among the most sought-after British military wristwatches. Original cases and military components have become increasingly scarce due to decades of service use, repairs and attrition.
