Vintage Longines Cal. 23Z Watch Movement with Dial, Hands & Inner Ring – Project

A vintage Longines calibre 23Z manual wind watch movement offered as a restoration project. This gents movement is supplied complete with its dial, hands, and inner retaining ring.

The movement is fitted with a 28.5mm silver-coloured dial displaying an attractive vintage patina acquired through age. The dial remains in good condition, while the matching hands are included as shown. Also included is the original 30mm inner ring.

The balance appears to be present and moves freely. This is a manual wind movement, however, due to its age, it is being sold as a project movement requiring servicing. No guarantee is given regarding timekeeping performance or functionality. The stem is not included.

The Longines calibre 23Z is a respected mid-century Swiss movement produced during a period when Longines was recognised for manufacturing high-quality in-house calibres. Known for its robust construction and reliable performance, the 23Z formed part of Longines’ long tradition of precision watchmaking and remains of interest to collectors, restorers, and watchmakers today.
