This is a genuine original military dial from a LACO Beobachtungsuhr (B-Uhr).

This dial was originally fitted to the famous LACO FL 23883 Beobachtungsuhr, one of the official navigator’s watches supplied to the German Luftwaffe during the Second World War. LACO B-Uhren were powered by the high-grade Durowe Calibre D5, manufactured to strict military navigation specifications.

The Type-B (Baumuster B) dial, with its clean Arabic numerals and highly legible layout, became the standard design for early German military observation watches and remains one of the most iconic pilot watch dials ever produced.
